| B*witched is made of four very talented girls named Edele, Lindsay, Keavy, and Sinead. How B*witched got together? Well this is the story.
About two or three years ago, Keavy worked full time at her fathers garage. One afternoon Sineads mothers car broke down and needed a mechanic. While the car was getting fixed Keavy and Sinead got into a little chat. They noticed each other from the dance center in Dublin. But they never actually had a chat before cause Sinead lived about an hour from the dance center so she had to leave right away. While they were chatting they noticed that they had a lot in common like dancing, music, fashion, and boys!
When Sinead was introduced to Edele they struck up a strong friendship and decided to form a band. Soon the trio started to make their own dance routines and tunes together. They called themselves D*Zire. They picked that name cause they were starting to get what they desired. Later on Keavy mentioned that there was a girl in her kickboxing class that also could dance very well. So when they asked Lindsay to join the group it was like four long lost friends coming together.
Soon after that Edele, Lindsay, and Keavy moved into Sineads flat. Sinead, Edele, and Keavy had day jobs and Lindsay was still in school so they went into the studio from 7:00-10:00 at night and practiced. They also practiced in Sineads flat and were practicing 35 hours a week! One amazing thing happened one night though. The four girls were playing very loudly and the neighbors were banging on the door. They turned down the music immediately and answered the door thinking of trouble. But the neighbors were not complaining because the music was loud they were complaining because they wanted the music up!
One day a television crew decided to tape a documentary of the dance studio and asked the girls to perform in it. They said yes and were so very excited. Boyzones management saw the documentary and decided to invite B*witched to open for Boyzone. In the audience there was one very important person. Why was that person so important? This is why. That person was their future manager who soon contacted them. Their manager soon hooked them up with a producer named Ray Madman Hedges to hone their sound. They were not really happy with the name D*Zire but they could only think of sister and sassy. But soon their producer then gave them a complement that they made their own little world and that they were Bewitching. So ta da!!! B*witched was born.
As you might already know B*witched scored four number ones in the UK charts, and the B*witched Album at number 3! They say that they were in absolute shock!
Later on they opened for 'N Sync.
They soon teamed up with 5ive in a Disney In-Concert special.
Doing all that promotion soon helped B*Witched land in the top ten with their first album "B*Witched"!
